It has been swimming in the rumour pool for a while now, but Megan Fox has officially been attached to star in Fathom for Fox Atomic.
Originally created by the late Michael Turner, Fathom finds Aspen Matthews, a young woman originally found abandoned on board a ship and who is adopted by a military officer.
Endlessly drawn back to the sea, she grows up to become a champion swimmer and a marine biologist, before realising that she possesses watery powers and is a member of an ocean-dwelling race.
Prince Of Persia scribe Jordan Mechner will write the script, but there’s no word on anyone attached to direct yet.
